Girl's Generation and Wonder Girls: Who Will Conquer the U.S. Music Scene?
A self-confessed K-Pop fanatic, I've been following every songs, albums, commercials, and acts done by my favorite K-Pop groups. Some of them includes f(x), Rainbow, T-ara, Kara, Super Junior, MBLAQ, and Miss A. But of all the leading K-pop groups/singers, two of my ever favorites are Wonder Girls and Girl's Generation/SNSD.
It was thanks to a South Korean chat pal and friend that I was introduced to the world of K-Pop. And right now, I am just waiting for these two to hit U.S. big-time since they're two of the most successful and established singers in South Korea. I've done my essay service and will talk about the two groups separately.
Wonder Girls
Wonder Girls first hit and captivated the attention of most American audience with their single “Nobody.” The catchy beat and 70's look-and-feel naturally captured the hearts of people all over the world that even big Hollywood stars can't stop themselves from dancing to the tune. With their recent Nickelodeon made-for-TV movie debut titled “The Wonder Girls,” the girls surely are making everyone notice their incredible dancing moves, powerful singing voices, and charming personalities.
SNSD/Girl's Generation
This 9-member female group is very popular ever since they debuted with a number of hit songs and up until now that they're starting to enter the international music scene. The group became popular with their singles “Gee,” “Run Devil Run,” and “Oh!” wherein they showcased their cuteness, glamour, and sexiness in varying themes. When “The Boys” single hit every music station, it was an instant favorite and it opened their way to perform at Late Show with David Letterman and Live! With Kelly.
These two groups are busy establishing their career in the U.S. so there's no point with making guesses on who will ultimately conquer the U.S. music scene. We all love them and will support them in every career moves they make.
