K-Pop World: Yoona and Sohee with their Improving Vocals
With the new generation of singers taking the stage to impress us with their lively performance and singing prowess, I see myself being drawn more to become a music lover. Although my favorite is mostly classic songs, I love being serenaded by John Mayer, Bruno Mars, and more. But lately, my friend noticed me listening to K-Pop songs more than my usual playlist of American singers.
Born as a true blue Korean American, it is just but natural for me to take a liking for my fellow countrymen' songs. It was just recent when I heard of Wonder Girls and I've been in love with them ever since. Yet, one thing I noticed is that Sohee seems to not progress as a singer. Her vocal skills completely lacks compared to the other member considering that she's been given the most lines to sing.
Yeah, I know that being a singer in a group is as hard as getting your own essay writing services. But it's fun especially with all that freebies and media attention you can get. On the other hand, SNSD's Yoona also share the same fate with Sohee. I mean, if I'm in the group and just considered to be the “visuals” then I won't take part in it. A visual is a group member who lacks in the singing and dancing department but very pretty and sexy. So what does that make me?
However, I am really proud of them because they have improved a lot since the promotion of “Be My Baby” of Wonder Girls and “The Boys” of SNSD. Many fans were impressed with how Yoona and Sohee changed tremendously in their vocal skills.
If you want to make comments on why I wrote these two as the two artists who made a vocal development lately, feel free to do so.
